Korean War Era Red Cross Membership Medal
I do not have any information on the early awards of the Korean Red Cross, but the medal pictured on the left is from the War Memorial of Korea, Korean Cultural Information Center 전쟁기념관, 한국문화정보원이. The ribbon is very similar to the ribbon on the Korean Wound medal used during the war.

Armed Forces Membership Medal 국군회원기장
This medal is often confused with the Red Cross Membership Silver Medal of Merit 유공장 적십자회원 은유공장. The ribbon bars look virtually identical because the purple vs. blue stripes are very close in color. Both ribbon bars are 38 mm x 10 mm. The difference lies in the plague at the bottom of the drape, which has the words 대한 (Korea) on it. The Red Cross Armed Forces Membership Medal was created on Aug. 26, 1975. However, within the 2012 revision to the Korean Red Cross Awards Operational Regulations 대한적십자사포상운영규정 it states that it was created on Jan. 1, 1993. I am not quite sure why the two different dates, perhaps the ribbon bar was created in 1975 and the medal was created in 1993. More research is needed. Military personnel with the rank of Sergeant and above could wear this medal/ribbon bar, provided they paid monthly dues. This award was discontinued on Jan. 1, 2018. Even with the Medal being abolished, military personnel who had earned it, could continue to wear it on their uniform. (I have to assume that they continue to pay membership dues, but under a different category.
